GRRL HAUS CINEMA is back at the Brattle Theatre for our annual Best of 2022 Short Films event.
This year we have two screenings for you to enjoy. That means we have 28 powerful, hilarious, engaging and inspiring international short films!
Dramas, Comedies, Documentaries, Music Videos, Horror, Animated, Experimental, we got it alllll!

Each screening has equal amounts of genres so there’s something for everyone in each screening. We are also excited to present 7 local films in this event.

What you can expect to see :
A colorful and cruel comedy of a vivid and wild wedding, Gen Z’s thoughts on climate anxiety, a hand painted animated film on relationships, a woman who speaks to the dead through water, a satire on parenting apps, the horror of looking for a new home, trying to make ends meet during the pandemic, a day in the life of a life model, gender discrimination in the world of surfing, a powerful drama from women in Iran, international music videos, though provoking shorts from the UK on being mixed race, a stop motion animated film from Colombia, a film that moves from documentary to fiction about a woman’s experience in Vietnam, an absurdist comedy on a woman who gives birth to an egg and their friends jealousy, a feminist tale of men-hunting vampires and soooo much more
